Model predictive control based virtual synchronous generator for parallel-connected three-phase split-source converters in islanded AC Microgrids

Due to high penetration of renewable generation in power systems, and the need provide interface between distributed energy resources, split-source inverter (SSI) provides both boosting conversion capabilities one single-stage. Also for converter-based artificial inertia has become more important. In this paper a model-predictive control (MPC) based on virtual synchronous generator (VSG) algorithm parallel-connected three-phase SSI is proposed conceiving regulation local voltage realizing power-sharing an islanded AC microgrid (MG). A deployed ensure active-power-sharing inertia-emulation hence reducing rate change frequency (RoCoF) that results from sudden load change. To accomplish simple construction, quick dynamic performance, stability, enhanced current limitation, finite-set MPC (FS-MPC) used. The analysis modeling technique are presented detail. simulation model used investigate system performance.
